Fields, skills and levels

There are seven fields: strategy, finance, marketing, operations, people, leadership and governance. Each field has five skills.

Every skill has three levels. Two right answers win level 1, four win level 2, and six master the skill.

Ranks are earned by knowing things, not by playing longer.

Your calls on real companies

Below the lessons are company cards. Each one asks a question with a date on it, such as whether a company will stay out of bankruptcy court until a set day. You say Survivor or Write-off. When the day comes, the game shows who was right.

Each day you get five cards. Five calls a day keep your streak alive. The next five open at midnight.

Streaks, XP and the desks

Streak: the days in a row you played. A lesson or your daily calls count.
XP: points for calls, right answers and reading the stories.
The weekly desk: twenty players a week. On Monday the top five move up a desk and the bottom five move down. The desks are Apprentice, Analyst, Strategist, Judge and Oracle.
Battle: a run of ten questions that starts easy.
